Harald Siepermann

Bochum, D
He studied Art and Illustration at the Folkwang School in Essen.
Harald took classes at Richard Williams' Animation Masterclass and Robert McKee's Story Seminar
Startet early to work for Advertising - Agencies in Düsseldorf, London and Zürich.


Harald also works as an commercial illustrator in Hamburg, Germany and together with famed Dutch Entertainer HERMAN VAN VEEN he is creator of the award winning TV program ALFRED J. KWAK.
Harald Siepermann is lecturing character design at several FilmSchools in Cologne, Berlin , Ludwigsburg , Hamburg and Viborg (Dk) and Eskesehir (Tu).

Disney's Tarzan
Harald was one of the first people in 1995 who were involved with Disney's Tarzan.
He designed different characters for the movie Disney's Tarzan:
Jane
Kala
Clayton
Kerchak
Professor Porter
Tantor
Gorilla's
 
Since almost 20 years Harald is designing characters for a range of animation-studios worldwide,
most notably for WALT DISNEY FEATURE ANIMATION in Burbank, California.

In 1988 he designed the 52 episodes counting tv-show ALFRED J. KWAK based on his own comic , which won many prices worldwide, including the Golden Camera in 1990.
Alfred J . Kwak was nominated for worlds first Cartoon-UNICEF-Ambassador of Childs rights in 2003.
