Dear Morell!
Thank you for the last letter you sent on 25th of februar and the added payment. I see, that from "Palet"issue number 15 again only 3500 issues were put on the market while we produced 6000 issues. I write you about this for the fourth or fifth time now, but you don't meet my wishes. It is out of the question to produce "Palet" for the Dutch market, to print 6000 issues and that half of them is staying in stock.
When I talk to your departement manager about taking "Palet" from the market I only get bad wishes. But on the other way you have to see that this kind of trading is not correct. When you don't distribute 6000 issues then it makes no sense that we continue to supply you the "Palet". We can not liver from

About the fact that from the Dragonbooks not one single issue has been sold, is really depressing. If those books arrived too late I can imagine but they were there already which makes me wonder why not one single issue has been sold in the last season. You can imagine that I am not amused with this kind of messages.
Akim and Tarzan pins have been sent directly from Hannover, each 250 pieces. We can settle up for these 500 pins when I will be in Amsterdam, pennants from Tarzan and Akim can not be delivered. We don't have any in stock and both Tarzan and Akim are not published anymore here in Germany. There is no sense in it to produce any pennants.
I think that I finally will be in Amsterdam at the end of March. |

It will be high time to meet. But I can not give you the exact date yet.
I have been noticed that Mr. Vos from Universum publishing house is seriously ill. That's why he does not reply on any letter I send him. Perhaps you can inform me in Berlin what is going on with Mr. Vos. He also has to make some payments But you know about that.
Please write me soon to Berlin and write me how you think about
"Palet" . Like I told you it makes no sense that we produce 6000 issues and you only deliver 3500 issues and from thos 3500 there are no leftovers coming back.
My health is not so god after the long winter. I am planning to go to Spain for three weeks, at the end of March/ beginning of Apri. And move in the house of my business friend. Perhaps I will plan this that I will fly directly from Amsterdam to Palma. So that I will see you before the end of March. But I will let you know on time.l

PS. In your letter dated February 19th you ordered 250 clubcards and letterheads from Tarzan, Kim, Nick, Sigurd and Tibor. The Dutch versions are not available anymore, we have to print them additionally. In this case we have to <in rekening brengen> the printing costs.
Perhaps we can discuss this item when I am in Amsterdam again. |
