Edgar Rice Burroughs vond in Herman Brix dé Tarzan terug. Hij zou in 1932 de MGM Tarzan films gaan maken. Door een blessure kon hij de films niet maken en werd naar een ander uitgekeken (J. Weissmuller).
In 1935 werd toch een film gemaakt maar deze liep niet in de VS. MGM hield de film buiten de bioscopen. In Europa sloeg de film The New Adventures of Tarzan erg aan. |
Edgar Rice Burroughs recognised in Herman Brix a true Tarzan. He would act as Tarzan in 1932 for the MGM Tarzan movies. Because of a injury on his shoulder he was not able to star in the movies and therefor MGM lookefor another actor to play Tarzan (Johnny Weissmuller).
In 1935 a movie was created but it did not run well in the United States. MGM was keeping this movie outside the cinema's. In Europe the movie New Adventures of Tarzan became a big hit. |
Edgar Rice Burroughs hat in Herman Brix ein richtiger Tarzan gefunden. Er wurde in 1932 in die MGM Tarzan Filmen als Tarzan spielen. Durch ein Verletzung war es nicht möglich daß Herman Brix in die Filmen spielte. MGM suchte nach ein andere Schauspieler was Johnny Weissmuller bekamm.
In 1935 wurde doch eine Film gemacht aber dieser lief niht gut in die VS. MGM hat die Film aus dem Kino gehalten. In Europa wurde The New Adventures of Tarzan ein großer Hit. |
